When planning our wedding, we knew that choosing our DJ would be one of the most important decisions we’d have to make. I don’t think enough people realize it but once the wedding formalities are over, it’s the DJ that sets the tone for the rest of the night. We’d been to countless weddings where the DJ failed to get the guests out of their seats, failed to keep the dancers on the dance floor and failed to turn the wedding into a party. Our main objective for our entire wedding was to make everything as fun as possible so we knew we had to throw a “banger”. To achieve this, we needed someone who knew how mix and blend songs, someone who would understand our music requests and preferences, and most importantly, someone who really knew how to “turn up”.
DJ McNaughty was EXACTLY what we were looking for! DJ McNaughty took the time to meet with us prior to our wedding to really get to know us and find out exactly what we did and didn’t want when it came to the music and our timeline of events at the reception. We spent time listening to music and sharing songs and playlists together until we all felt confident that we were on the same page. He even agreed to wear his Leprechaun costume for us! When it finally came time for our wedding reception, DJ McNaughty put on the performance of a lifetime! Flawless announcements, perfect hosting and the WILDEST dance floor the Discovery Lodge has ever seen! As soon as our First Dance was over, DJ McNaughty turned it up to 110% and that’s where it stayed for the next 5 hours until place was closed down. There was hardly time to grab a drink because as soon as you’d step off the dance floor the next song would have you running back! Between the laser lights, fog blasters and banging song selection, our dance floor felt much more like a party at a night club than a wedding reception. We would recommend DJ McNaughty to anyone looking for a DJ that’s affordable, professional and willing to learn and perform exactly what you want for your special occasion!

The music at our reception was beyond what we could imagine. It was the perfect balance of genres that the older crowd enjoyed, kids enjoyed, and us in our 20s enjoyed. My wife and I had no idea how to plan or organize the evening of our wedding and reception but DJ had great recommendations and the process of determining what we wanted and didn’t want was a breeze and stress free! Don’t let DJ McNaughty’s name deter you from picking the best wedding DJ in the Tri-State! He is super professional and provided us with perfect wedding ceremony music and reception party music! He met with us prior to the wedding to ensure he would meet our expectations regarding style of music. He worked with our wedding coordinator to make sure he had the right equipment and was always on time and prepared.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Auston (DJ McNaughty) for around 8 years, during which time he has continuously and tirelessly pursued his passion for music and sharing that passion with others. This is one of the many reasons my wife and I wanted and trusted him to DJ our wedding. He was extremely well prepared from the moment we booked him, getting ahead of the game with names of those involved, songs for the specific dances and the timing and organization of what should happen when and how he should announce these events.
